When a situation becomes a criminal or emergency matter, we work with and turn those matters over to the appropriate local law enforcement, fire, or emergency authorities.

 

Our capabilities extend well beyond traditional security patrols. Securus provides mobile patrol services, static security officers, alarm response, keyholder services, loss prevention, executive protection, fire watch, first aid details, vehicle lockout assistance, storm damage assessments, K-9 services, drone services, and other customized security solutions based on the needs of each client. Private investigation matters are handled through our relationship with Bowers Investigative Agency, allowing clients to be connected with the appropriate professionals when investigative services are needed.

 

Behind our officers is technology designed to improve communication, accountability, and response. Our operations utilize a proprietary radio communication system supported by cellular networks and backup capabilities, along with body-worn cameras, mobile devices, dispatch resources, and software used to document activity and maintain detailed records. Our team also monitors relevant police and fire activity so that when something occurs involving a client's property, we can communicate with the client and respond appropriately. From noise complaints and unauthorized vehicles to blocked areas, towing concerns, alarms, property issues, and calls for service, our goal is to give clients a security partner they can actually reach when something happens.

 

Our patrol services are designed to provide more than a single drive-through each night. Depending on the client's agreement, officers can conduct multiple patrols throughout a 12-hour shift, with additional responses to calls for service incorporated into the patrol operation. Clients and residents can also be provided with a number to reach security when assistance is needed. With roaming supervision and dispatch support, our officers aren't simply working alone—they are part of a coordinated security operation focused on protecting the properties entrusted to us.

 

Professionalism is especially important to us. Our officers maintain a full professional uniform and are trained and certified as required for the equipment and responsibilities associated with their assignments. Armed security is available and may be recommended when appropriate for the property and level of protection needed. Securus Protection Agency is led by Director/CEO Rory Kerwood and Director/CFO Evan Horvath, both of whom bring law-enforcement experience to the company. That experience helps shape our emphasis on professionalism, accountability, communication, and cooperation with local public-safety agencies while maintaining the distinct role of private security.
